WHYALLA JETTY

Located on the Whyalla Foreshore

The new Whyalla Jetty was funded by the state government​.fff This jetty cost just over 7 million dollars to built. The state government contributed over a million dollars towards the project. This one of a kind ring design was built with fishers and disabled people in mind to make it accessible to everyone. The jetty looks even more spectacular at night with all the leds installed on the outer edges of the jetty.

WHYALLA MARITIME MUSEUM

Located at the information centre 

Tours & Other Costs Apply 

The Whyalla Maritime Museum is a must visit location for tourists as you learn about the history and growing of Whyalla. Including the HMAS Whyalla which is one of 60 Bathurst-class corvettes constructed during World War II and one of 20 built on Admiralty order but manned by personnel of and later commissioned into the Royal Australian Navy. There's much more to see in this museum including the Whyalla Steelworks Tour​.

WESTLANDS SHOPPING CENTER

 located on Mcdouall Stuart Ave, Whyalla Norrie

Free entry - 7am-10pm every day, 8am-8pm public holidays

Westlands shopping center is Eyre Peninsula's largest shopping center offering a range of stores including the big chains and the smaller speciality shops. Kmart, Cheap as Chips, Woolworths, Coles and the reject shop are all in the one place. The centre offers shops such as fresh food and gifts and homewares to sporting goods and fashion stores. A large food court is also in the centre including air conditioning for the comfort of all.

WHYALLA WETLANDS

Located on Lincoln Highway

Free 24/7 Public Access, Cafe also on land

Whyalla wetlands is a spectacular piece of land with natural, untouched land around the stunning lake. Whyalla wetlands has a bike/walking track stretching around the whole land. On the other side of the land is a playground and exercise equipment for the kids. Whyalla Wetlands has a cafe for all to enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner. Whyalla wetlands was designed to be accessible for all with flat surfaces all around the land. Toilets and sheltered areas also available around the lands.

Located on the following streets: Forsyth Street, Patterson Street, Hunter and Custom Lane, Darling Terrace and Horwood and Kelly streets

Whyalla City Plaza promises to be a shopping experience like no other. With more than 100 businesses located in the plaza including Harvey Norman, Office National and more shops including specialty shops, estate agents, cafes, hotels, banks and fashion.

WHYALLA RECREATION CENTRE

Located on Racecourse Road

The Whyalla Recreation Centre is a community based health, fitness and recreation centre with a focus on fitness, health, aquatics and stadium programs. There facilities include Aquatics, two court stadium, play cafe, kiosk, newly upgraded fitness equipment, brand new swimming pool centre with slides, mushrooms and several pools and much more.
